Meet Pesto!
Hey, my name is Pesto, and I’m a little girl with a BIG personality, a very strong set of opinions, and absolutely no intention of keeping those opinions to myself. I may be small, but please don’t let that fool you. I have ideas, I have standards, and I’m quite convinced that most things would run a lot more smoothly if everyone would simply listen to me!
You see, I’ve had quite the journey already. I was found in a cardboard box with my siblings when we were just tiny babies, and we needed lots of extra care from the lovely humans who took us in. We had a lot of growing to do, and at first, that meant being given special milk feeds to help us get stronger. Now, apparently, there’s a very particular way these feeds are supposed to happen. The humans had a whole routine planned out, with a designated spot I was supposed to sit in nicely to get my important feeds. Well, I’m afraid I had other ideas. Why should I sit where they told me when there were perfectly good human arms to climb up? And if there’s a shoulder available, surely that’s the obvious place to be! The humans would try to keep me safely positioned for my feed, and I would do my very best to explain that I had a much better plan. Up the arm I’d go, determined to perch myself on a shoulder rather than cooperate with the milk that was supposed to help me feel better. Honestly, I don’t know why everyone was making such a fuss. I was simply trying to improve their system!
I’ve always been a rather determined little lady, and I’m not afraid to let people know when I think they’ve got something wrong. Of course, underneath all my cheeky stubbornness, I’m a very lovable little girl. I’ve got bags of character, plenty of curiosity, and a whole lot of charm. I might keep my humans on their toes, but I have a way of making myself rather difficult to resist. It’s hard to stay cross with a tiny kitten who looks at you as though she’s just come up with a revolutionary new idea, even when that idea is simply to climb you like a tree!
Now, I’m ready to find a forever home of my own where there will be a resident cat for me to befriend. I’m still a young girl with lots to learn, and having another cat around will give me a friend to play with, learn from, and share my little world with. My new humans will need to be ready for a kitten who is full of beans. I’ll need plenty of playtime, patience, affection, and guidance as I grow up.
Could that be you? Are you ready for a little Pesto to bring some spice into your life? Just remember, when you bring me home, we’ll need to discuss who’s actually in charge, because I have a few thoughts on the matter...
